The Have Glass V scheme consists of radar absorbing paint and a special coating inside the canopy, both of which help to reduce the aircraft RCS (Radar Cross Section) by up to 15% over normal F-16s. For obvious reasons the radome isn't painted with it!

Well, after an extremely quiet 2020 for obvious reasons, I decided I'd had enough of the same four walls and headed out to do some spotting - as there is a bit of variety in the UK at the moment. Outdoor leisure activities are now allowed providing social distancing is maintained. People can now go to the beach, play golf, sunbathe and many other activities, whether this is for the best nobody knows yet.

No, the Duxford example isn't in the photos above, however, it did also come from the China Lake boneyard. The two flying examples - Doc and Fifi were also from here.

The Russians don't care whether you're media or not, they just want your money! Nothing wrong with hiring a boat, you just won't get the takeoff and landing shots and the helis will still probably be a bit too far away, it all depends on what you want. EDIT: If you do have proper media accreditation...

What camera gear do you use?

I use Canon gear, mainly a 5DIII and 7DII with 24-105 and 100-400mm lenses.
