Re: Ex Air Defender (or a flashback to the 90s)
They are good, so crisp and sharp.
It was a great exercise for both number crunchers and photographers, glad I went over.
Well done.

Stunning Kev, as always with your helicopter shots.
Why don't you post your "yellow" Wessex from RAF Valley you took back in the day, I'm sure the viewers would appreciate it.
Cheers

Nellis AFB, NV 9th 10th 11th March 2022
Hi all. I visited Nellis AFB for two full days on 9th & 10th March 2022 and also a fleeting early morning visit on 11th. If anybody was there on the same days do you have a log of what you saw. With the heat haze / shelters and not the best bins / pole it was difficult to capture everything. Any hel...

Nellis AFB, 9th / 10th, 11th March 2022
Hi all.
I visited Nellis AFB, NV on 9th & 10th March 2022 all day on both day and an early morning look over on 11th.
Does any kind soul have logs for any of these days please.
Heat haze, sun shelters really don't help if you don't have a very good pole.
Many thanks in advance.

Hog flew over the moon
Hi all.
A-10C / DP taken on the approach at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ a few weeks ago.
Got lucky with the moon being in the shot.

D Day USAF Twin Otter
Hi all. Seen last week at Sawtooth Dropzone Airstrip, SW of Eloy, AZ was this nicely painted UV-18 Twotter (Twin Otter) in D Day markings. It was being used for parachute jumping from this remote airstrip along with its sister ship, callsigns Congo 64 & 65. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/519619...

CV-22's Mildenhall 05/08/2021
Hi all.
Was up at Mildenhall yesterday to watch the AV's departing (well some of them) and noticed 4 possibly 5 Ospreys parked on their SOS ramp.
I have 0042 / 0049 / 0057.
Did anyone manager to get the other(s) through the heat haze.
Many thanks
Stewart
