The Jersey Devils, NJ ANG, Atlantic City.

Hi all On a trip to the NE USA back in 2007 I visited Atlantic City International Airport where the 119th Fighter Squadron / 177th Fighter Wing, New Jersey Air Nation Guard have their home. The "Jersey Devils" F-16's back then had the classic red fin flash which in the past few years has been replac...

Spangdahlem AB, Germany - Memorial Park

Hi all. Last year I ventured over to Germany for a few days and managed to arrange access to Spangdahlem Air Base, home of the 52nd Fighter Wing and their impressive and well kept historic aircraft. As you drive in through the new main gate and up the hill you meet a roundabout where this beauty is ...

Re: Connecticut ANG A-10's 2007

See what you mean with shot 7, the jet had just landed and the ground crew were busy post flight.
It looks like the guys head stretches up around the fuselage - strange but true, no editing.

Re: A-10's Massachusetts ANG 2007

Tanker Ray, yes these are digital, I stopped using slide film in about 2005.

I’ve thousands of slides to scan at some point mostly US stuff.

I’ll be in touch soon to arrange some scanning tips.

Air Force One - a different view!!!!

Hi all.

Took this unusual shot of Air Force One, VC-25A when on a visit to March Field, California back in 2005.

Its shot through the Head Up Display (HUD) of a C-17A.

SAC Museum

Hi all. Back in 2011 I visited the Strategic Air Command museum near Ashland, Nebraska some 25 miles west of Offutt AFB. Its great museum with lots of interesting aircraft on display all under one roof. On the north side of Interstate 10 just before the exit to the museum a Thud is pole mounted, thi...

Sioux City, Iowa ANG / Paint Shop / Museum

Hi all. Following on from the KC-135 tail that I posted a few days ago, here is a selection of other aircraft displayed on the airfield. It includes the historic aircraft park near the Guard HQ building, a few shots on the ramp, the paint shop on the far side of the base, a lonely A-7 twin stick bat...
