Re: ZK431 returned from the Azores?
Whilst I don't have a definitive answer, I think it would have been reported somewhere on FC if it did. I see today (Fri 28th) that another A400 ZM413 /RRR4516 has gone into Lajes. So I'm wondering if that is taking a repair crew/spares etc out to sort it (assuming it is still stranded there) There...

ZK431 returned from the Azores?
Does anyone know if ZK431 returned to Lossie yesterday (26/01)? The other two Typhoons that 431 was with (ZK375 and ZK433) returned to Coningsby following a failed attempt to make it to Nellis for Red Flag As a side bar; perhaps these three were air spares and weren't meant to go the whole way (unle...

Re: Retained Typhoon Plans?
How odd....
Perhaps they are getting their odds and ends sorted so they can deliver the missing jets in order to make room for Tempest

Retained Typhoon Plans?
Hi everyone, With only ZK437 left to deliver, I was curious if anyone knew what the plans are for the Typhoons that have been retained for test purposes. Not including ZJ938 (which I doubt will ever go to a squadron) I count 4 that have been noted flying regularly (ZK303, ZK350, ZK355, and ZK356) an...

Re: ZK438 (BS154) delivery - Heads Up!
I find it interesting that the "last" RAF Typhoon off the line (ZK439) has flown twice since rolling out but we haven't seen anything out of ZK437... which you think would have flown AND delivered by now... or did I completely miss the activities of 437?

Thanks for that Tom
So, that is the one that has been marked as 45-59556 with the peppermint stripe (red and white) on the tail?

YP-84A 45-59487 Location?
Greetings all
I'm trying to locate (if it is still preserved) YP-84A 45-59487
It was listed as being on display at Chino airport once upon a time and was curious of it's present whereabouts
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers

Re: Red Flag 19-1
Yup,
If I recall correctly, ZK307 and ZK323 returned with maintenance issues and ZK424 returned because of fuel state concerns. I would like to think that 424 actually made it out the next day and the others got fixed... but, so hard to tell on this one.....
Cheers

Re: USS INTREPID NEW YORK 31 MAY 18
I thought the Supermarine Scimitar the FAA museum swapped for the F4S now at East Fortune was on Intrpid? Yes, you're right. it was there at one time. When the museum got the Space Shuttle Enterprise in 2012, they removed three aircraft to make room. The Scimitar, Skyknight and MiG-15 were sent up ...

Re: USS INTREPID NEW YORK 31 MAY 18
Although it is true that Enterprise did not go into space, it was used for glide testing by some of the first shuttle crews so technically *did* fly :-)
