I find it interesting that the "last" RAF Typhoon off the line (ZK439) has flown twice since rolling out but we haven't seen anything out of ZK437... which you think would have flown AND delivered by now... or did I completely miss the activities of 437?

Yup,

If I recall correctly, ZK307 and ZK323 returned with maintenance issues and ZK424 returned because of fuel state concerns. I would like to think that 424 actually made it out the next day and the others got fixed... but, so hard to tell on this one.....

I thought the Supermarine Scimitar the FAA museum swapped for the F4S now at East Fortune was on Intrpid? Yes, you're right. it was there at one time. When the museum got the Space Shuttle Enterprise in 2012, they removed three aircraft to make room. The Scimitar, Skyknight and MiG-15 were sent up ...

Although it is true that Enterprise did not go into space, it was used for glide testing by some of the first shuttle crews so technically *did* fly :-)
