It was proved some years ago that these serials were not FY64, but FY61. So, for example, '64-17979' should be 61-7979

The MOD letter to our local Moray MP gives the aircraft as E-7B Wedgetails...think it was assumed we'd get the original A model so will be interesting so what differences there actually are
