Re: F1 2025
At least we saw Lando being more aggressive for a change. Too often he just jumps out the way, it's cost him a lot of points, especially vs Max. Okay in this instance it was vs his team mate and there really wasn't a gap but Lando's biggest flaw is he doesn't race hard enough.

Re: F1 2025
Imola isn't the Italian Grand Prix, that's Monza. Although odd that they say that Imola isn't suitable for modern cars. But a street track is apparently.

Re: Scanner at Cosford
Probably in the the wrong place this one. Sounds a bit odd to me. Scanners don't transmit so it's not that. There are an increasing number of handheld transceivers that receive airband that people are turning to as an option, but it won't be that either. If I'm receiving the comms via the Reds freq ...

Re: F1 2025
Anyone remember Jerez '97? Schuey tried to take out Villenueve and was effectively excluded from the entire season. The championship was at stake for that one but does that really matter? They were more lenient on Seb at Baku and even more lenient this time with Max. Think about it, using your car t...

Re: F1 2025
Everyone on Sky so cared to say he did it on purpose. Clearly the memories of Damon and Johnny are still strong. Don't be mean about Max.

Re: F1 2025
Barcelona this weekend, rarely a good race but is it actually the last one? We're definitely going to Madrid next year, at the Madring, another street circuit. But Barcelona still have a contract for 2026.

Re: F1 2025
It could have been worse, remember the rule was put in to avoid a repeat of last year which was effectively a zero stop race. Did anyone watch the Indy 500, now that was painful. From parade lap spins to an entire pit crew getting run over to throwing buckets of water on a fuel fire. I didn't realis...

Re: F1 2025
Nope 7th September, did he mean the oval, although I don't think they were using that as late as '78?

Re: F1 2025
They can take off what they want and add ballast to actually help balance the car so the weight's not an issue. They don't take off wings, I'm not sure if they are allowed to, because they still have an effect on the car. If it were the case that the wings were actually working against the driver th...

Re: F1 2025
So Monaco can throw up an interesting result. It would be ironic if it did but then the mandatory two stops reset things to the usual order.

Re: F1 2025
IMPO Schumacher, Vettel and Verstappen are/were superb drivers who spoil themselves with outrageous tactics, such a pity, hard racing is one thing, dangerous driving is another, it doesn't help that the team 'boss' can see nothing wrong  I'd agree with that for the most part, although Vettel ...

Re: F1 2025
I think we will see him improve as the season goes on. He will always be remembered for his best years, we don't look back and remember the likes of Vettel, Schuey or Hill for the tail ends of their careers. When the '26 cars land will be the big one.

Re: F1 2025
I'd like a Brit to have taken the win but Russell 3rd, Norris 4th, Hamilton 5th and Bearman 10th. I'll take that. Norris still top of the standings after a fairly poor weekend for him. Hope he pulls himself together now.
