A heads up. Taken from the RAF Fairford/Bomber town facebook group page. Wednesday 13th April 7pm in the carpark just north of St Marys church Fairford some bomber task force patches will be for sale. May be of interest to some. I would add a map but am not good at that sort of thing!

I spoke to a pilot on Wednesday and he said that because he was short he is able to get up and stretch out every hour or so during longer sorties but the taller pilots and crew struggle a bit more. They all make a point of doing some sort of stretching in flight just to make it more comfortable.

Lockheed u2s upgrade kit

Hi all,
Friend of mine has just bought a 1/48 scale lockheed u2 kit and wants to update it with the asarsII nose conversion and spine mounted data link hump.

Could anyone please offer any ideas of where to aquire.
