Re: Coltishall early 80's
Yes many happy hours spent at Colt in my youth, I use to push bike there from the northern edge of Norwich every school holiday and also visit with my dad. Always plenty of jags flying, you just never knew what was going to drop in or do a approach. Over the years we had some real nice exchange visi...

Re: What counts as "Spotting" an aircraft?
Think that is the beauty of plane spotting, there are so many different things to spot if you want to and at the end of the day there are no rules, you can spot/collect what you want to. I do both civil and military, but only selected civil ie Airliners and Corp Jets. I do like to read the numbers o...

Re: USMC F-35 September 2020?
Phil, that's why I did a detailed report I really went for the C130 yesterday and wasn't quite sure what or how much of each plane would be visible with the F35s. I was pleasantly surprised. I messed up on 08, but that's in the left barn so shouldn't be a problem, so you would be up to 8. People wil...

I suppose also I was looking for 5 under each sunshade too which didn't help!! I shall be passing tomorrow so will take a another lo...

Re: USMC F-35 September 2020?
Just to add to the above, I visited this afternoon for a look: Those in the left hand sun shed are easily visible through a nice large gap between trees/shelters codes read 00,06,04,07 and 01 all tails, tops of fuselages visible Right hand sun shed much harder too see, gap through trees much smaller...

Re: Mildenhall 18th August 91
Again Jaws thank you ever so much for your detailed reply, I have dug my log out for the day in question and see I did note 99102 also but I didn't need it.
So it's looking like the above C130s were based at the Hall at the time?? I Guess a arrival date for 9282 may decide it. Thanks TB1
