Thanks for sharing the nostalgia. Forgive any naivity but Is the 10337 U-2R the same as U2S 68-10337 currently at Fairford.

There is a short video on dod.defence.gov>news>special reports that talks about the B2 deployment and working with the RAF. It is planned that B2''s and F35's will be flying together.

Presumably has now been towed from the runway. Where will the spare engine come from - I assume there are spares at Minot and Barksdale and who will fit - a specialist crew flown in?

Thanks. Good point, would be interesting to know how many flights the B52's do each year. Presumably the deployments are an opportunity to practise refuelling on longer flights as I suspect they do not to many trips of this duration.

Interesting that they may possibly refuel. Given the combat range of 8800 miles and on the assumption they will not be carrying ammo that should increase range. By no means an expert on this subject but I would have thought that they would start with sufficient fuel for the journey unless they want ...

Please note that Bermuda is not in the Caribbean. It is in the Atlantic approximately 665 miles south east of Cape Hatteras North Carolina.
