It will be interesting to find out what work needs to be completed on the overrun areas to accept RC-135 operations. The 09 overrun was reworked back in 2000-2001 when the airfield was upgraded and the pronounced slope at that end was reduced to meet NATO standards. Maybe (only guessing) they need ...
