I too have had the tube up the nose to drain my stomach & I can verify that it is a truly horrible experience.....even more so when it comes off the top of the collecting bottle it in the night & you dont realise until the nurses wake you in the morning...

I think you are excused as it has has been a bit chilly recently. It has been the Easter holidays and maybe some people are still off work. Have a look for the book "Shropshire Airfields" by Toby Neal, some good and interesting information in there, you might be surprised just how many airfields there were in the area.
