Re: B2 at Mildenhall air fete
Thanks everyone ☺ I only wish that I had taken more interest and a camera now. I don't suppose I'll ever get to see another one.

B2 at Mildenhall air fete
Hi, In the years before I had anything more than a casual interest in aircraft, I went with my wife, who was the fan , to the airfete twice . At 1 or the shows, or maybe both, either 1998 or 1999, I can clearly remember a B2 flying along with an F117 if that helps with year. My question is, did the ...

Painted names on aircraft
Hi everyone, stupid question time..
Some aircraft for example Typhoons etc have an aircrew name painted on 1 side, I assume that it is the pilot who has that aircraft allocated to him.So can anybody else fly it, or is it strictly 1 person, 1 aircraft ????
I ddid warn you it was stupid☺

Re: Flares at airshows
I can remember the Dutch F16 having flares at Fairford in 2005/6, but am I right in thinking it also used them at Bournemouth a few years later too?

Re: Hi from South Suffolk
Thanks Eagle, it certainly is looking like a great friendly forum. Only just started photography, don't think I'll ever get to the standard on here, wish I'd got shots of the B2's at Mildenhall, don't think I'll ever see one of those again.

Re: What is a T-bird?
Thanks EGVP and sheriff. I would never have worked that out. There were 4 visible 2 of each type and I could ee see that they were slightly different designs, but that was about as far as my knowledge went

What is a T-bird?
Hi. Recently I posted on another page a picture of Italian aircraft carrier Cavour, with some Harriers on board. Someone commented about a T-bird. What do they mean??

Re: Trooping the colours flypast.
I used to live in Chelmsford for many years. Beaulieu Park was always a favourite spot , at the end of Beaulieu Boulevard up the steps looking towards Boreham. Another great spot was the council car park immediately behind the train station, although this view may now be spoilt be recent buildings b...

Hi from South Suffolk
Hi, finally followed my wife's lead and started to take more than a passing interest in her hobby. After being dragged around Mildenhall in total bewilderment back in the 90's, I'm only starting to realize now on what I actually missed.☺
