Nice shots in challenging weather, am a little bit challenged myself by the semi-civ markings on those tanker-transports. Skewed to no thanks on those kinds of stickers on mil a/c

Re: Air Defender 2023

Good to see so many different units participating. With ANG F-15s participating in Frisian Flag regularly in recent years, for once we're a little spoiled with those. On the A-10s though... bring them on! In preparing for this large exercise I saw a media flurry around 122FW /163FS who are replacing...

Re: U.S. F-15s To Leave Okinawa Without Permanent Replacement

The first two cells of F-15C's have left Kadena beginning of December, moving the jets to Kingsley Field, OR. Reported departure on Kadena AFB website. Twelve were listed [on milspotters], while Kingsley Field's 173FW mentions receiving 14. Seven should move on to other ANG units, three to stay with...

Super autumn colors from a unit that never travels anywhere with these birds... and the C/D are a dying breed as per recent USAF news. Thanks for the operational info.

Re: Norway Falcon 20ECM Retirement

I guess we will see them again in museums...unless they have other plans. In one of the Norwegian newspapers highlighting the retirement on 30 September, it was mentioned that one will go to the Bodo museum, along with one P-3 for which the retirement date is set at 30 Jun 2023. It is easy to assum...

Re: T-38

Last week "Bolar11" flew messaging I'm a "T-38" with registration "63-8146" and indeed hex code AE0000. Up and down the Grafenwohr Range in Germany, surely a LN F-15E. It ended when the 'real' 63-8146 powering up at Randolph, where it flew a mission as "Tack1". For a short while they showed up on AD...

Re: RPAS (Drone) Activity to Start in Spring 2023

Drones have ADSB transponders just like regular aircraft, only miniaturized. They can set a squawk code, change it if needed. The new MQ-9s should have Mode 5 IFF as well.

Re: RAF Mildenhall 11/02 KC-135R wing icing

Hello Flogger23 nice pictures, noticed the ice build-up as well; quite common on larger jets ... it's the fuel indeed. Greetings from the Dutch invasion on the mound last Friday and yes we had the majority and we only were with 4.... unlucky troupe nothing much going on there. We tried to make it ba...
