Spoke to a couple of Lakenheath personnel at the Duxford flying day yesterday 7/6/25 and they said that don’t believe everything you hear….make of that what you will????

I Have to take issue with your point about the play area, I took my 7 year old son for his first airshow here this weekend and he loved the aircraft however was slightly bored at times and the play area would have given him and countless other children an escape. RAF Linton on Ouse finally closes it doors on the 18th December 2020. Another one bites the dust and having spent the last 6 years there as part of the AOAC, one base I am really sad to see go...Ah well onwards now to RAF Topcliffe.
