Not sure this helps but I noted A97-180 at Brize Norton 23/7/77. Can't have been too many Australian C-130s around at the time.

Re: Fassberg Tag der Bundeswehr 8th June 2024

It’s quite simple Mike. Hangars 8, 9/9a and 10 are all separate buildings forming three sides of a box at the end of the ramp. Hangar 8 was behind the bus departure points; hangars 9/9a run at right angles to this behind the entrance security checks (as stated, the hangars with the covered windows);...

Re: Bastille Day Flypast 2024

Belgian F-16s and Indian Rafales participated in the 2023 flypast so I would think unlikely for 2024. Actual make of the full parade , including the flypast, are normally made public around mid June by the military governor of Paris’s office if my memory serves me correctly. According to reports on ...

Could any kind local advise if 167924 is still outside this evening as I have an opportunity to make an early morning call tomorrow but would really like to avoid a wasted journey.

Thanks I. Advance
It was outside at 1630 today if that helps.

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2024

Following up on the subject of still waiting to receive a QR code, I've just received an e mail from the organisers letting me know that my e mail provider was blocking their automatic e mail responses and asking for an alternative email address, which I was able to supply. My email provider is btin...

Is there anyone else still waiting for their QR code?
Yes I am. Funds transfer was made 29th February and I have bank confirmation that this was made successfully - but no communication from the organisers since then.

Re: ILA 2024

So I'm planning to go this year and will stay at an airport hotel very near terminal. Did they do a shuttle bus from terminal and back to show last time ? For 2022 we arrived by car, car parks were located at the old Schonefeld terminal with a shuttle bus to the show site. There were other shuttle ...

Re: ILA 2024

Sorry The Cat for delayed reply, hadn't noticed your post. I'm not really into photography so didn't pay that much attention to positioning. My recollection is that although there was a lot of available space on the ramp area used, some items were reasonably tightly packed, especially in the Bundesw...

Re: ILA 2024

ILA is very much a shadow of it's former self now that Brandenburg is fully open, which really does restrict the flying display. I was there on opening day 2022 and the only interesting flying item was a Luftwaffe A.400. It may have got slightly better on the public days? Static was OK, lots of Germ...
