There's a rumour going round on Facebook that a Canadian C17 is due in at 16.30, I've seen that a few times on social media now.

I'm not sure why that might be other than engineering requirements such as retro fitting of equipment or maybe just even out of fleet hours. How can you tell it hasn't flown for a year and a half?

Mytee 51 is a flight of two. Mytee 53 is all alone.

According to RAF Fairford Twitter page:
Mytee 51 flight of two, ETA 1145L
Mytee 53 flight of one, ETA 1210L

A RAF C17 departed brize at 16:05 (bst). That could have been it.

The 757 is going to brize.

I see that the USAF c17 here went out on a local sortie today and became the first ever c17 to fly through the mach loop.

How did you find out? I know it was mentioned on Twitter they might be.

I reckon b2, if it does come to fairford on Friday for the exercise.

Well, the b17 "sallyb" is down as coming to riat on it's website, presumably flying as it says not landing. Just awaiting confirmation by riat organizers.
