Re: Recent daily flying ops/summer vacancies?

There can be up to six launches per day usually between 2-6 aircraft per wave (you might see the same aircraft all day). If you only use ADSB/ FR24/ Freedar you will only see a fraction of the daily operations, 360 radar gives the best coverage for the area to give you an idea of what is airborne. F...

Re: 100sqn Hawk Fleet

I hope this helps. This is a list of all the 100 Squadron T1’s that I have been able to identify so far in 2020. There are quite a few occasions where 736 NAS pilots are flying 100 Sqn marked aircraft (and vice versa) So I have tried to list here all the 100 Sqn aircraft using a 100 Sqn callsign. It...

I have to admit, I'm torn between the MkI/ IIa and the Mk IX for the dream sound, but the Griffon sound is the sound of power. However I love them all!!

Re: Anzac Day

I was in Townsville for ANZAC Day 2013, and it was an impressive day. A huge marchpast/ flypast along 'the strand' in the morning in front of the State governor and then PM Julia Gillard, then a celebration in the afternoon which just happened to take place in all the bars/ hotels..... ;)
