meh it would be more impressive getting the crews flying the drones
I'd have thought they had preprogrammed flight paths rather than controllers.
Somebody has to programme or control them somewhere. They also have to be released from somewhere, take out those avenues, no more drones.

There is always going to be darwin awards candidates, even if there was a giant sign in neon letters saying "do not stand here" somebody would and will.

Re: RAF BINBROOK hangar tour 9th July 1987

The Last Last Lightning show for me, has never been surpassed! Many, many hours spent at the crash gates as a teenager, one lovely day before the last show, Group Captain John Spencer came rocking up to the gate offering a free ticket for the show, nobody volunteered!! So I did  free entry to ...

Does anyone know the story behind Colonel Hughlin? He's seen coughing up blood and then is replaced by Chick Harding. His records I've read online don't mention any illness, and he continued on to lengthy distinguished career.
Just one small line in episode 2. Burst ulcer.

Take the "I know everything hat off" and watch it for what it is...entertainment. Do that and its pretty good, not a patch on Band of Brothers, but better than the Pacific.

Re: AA vision problem

blah blah blah the AA are reasonable for a rescue, much better than the RAC. Google maps is also much much better than anything the AA can come up with.

Re: Manston Fire Dump - 2006

Interesting stuff, some of my shots from 1991, unfortunately my shots of ZE360 from March/April 91 did not get returned from processing. 4 shots in the album are a little after 2000
