1/35th Fi-103R V-1 Trainer

First build of the year, and shown with my other 1/35th V1. Nice kits, go together nice. I've done my own paint job using dark green and light blue. I've done it to look lightly worn due to being a trainer, but not seen any photos with them like this... I just though it would break up a very boring ...

Re: 1/35th Fi-103R V-1

Cheers Patrick. There was, and also this a trainer that is hitting the bench as said. Although I don't think the piloted versions were about long as it wasn't Germanys way of doing things. Interesting though! https://c5.staticflickr.com/1/285/32056640772_d6b67b885b_b.jpg IMG_3450 by Radleigh Bushell...

1/35th Fi-103R V-1

Took 3 weeks start to finish, nice kits to build... the kit sort of falls together but the locating pins are quick thick and the holes need widening, other than that and a gap between fuselage/wing, it was a joy to build. I will be start...

Re: Mauritius Police & Coast Guard.

Thanks guys! Glad you like. Very nice! You must have fleeted them! Good to see something different. Mike I don't collect registrations any more, but I saw the whole fleet plus the two stored Alouette III's, so pretty good going! All in one day too.. Would love to go back and stay at the hotel on the...

Mauritius Police & Coast Guard.

Might be of interest here? I was in Mauritius for two weeks & I went up in a Air Mauritius Jet Ranger for a jolly and in doing so, we had to pass the Coast Guard hangar that houses Alouette III's, a HAL Dhruv of the Mauritian Police, and one of two Do-228's and a BN.2T Islander. I asked about gettin...

1/125th, I was shooting Manual with Auto ISO, so at the last minute I moved the dial as I was shooting at 1/640th (I think - higher than usual anyway because the subject) and wanted some motion. Thank you :)

Fingers crossed for the Polish MiG's, losing the HuAF An-26 and Slovak MiG's is already a kick in the balls.

I believe it was operating a flight and will be for a short while..? Taken from the Long Stay car park viewing area while waiting for the Egyptian to depart. Only stayed an hour or so, so I got the arrival and departure. https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7343/28068920415_75c83ab27f_o.jpg https://c2.stat...

Egyptian CASA 295 @ Birmingham

6am start on Sunday to catch this beauty. Rumoured to depart at 0900L, but eventually went at 13:20ish. I took a chance and went to the Long Stay with the hope that he would go long, and he did! Sun was on top of us by this point, but not to bad for photos. https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7423/2802885...
