Maybe a possibility they arrive after the first mission for Ample Strike? Global power mission to Czech Republic, landing at Fairford afterwards?

Re: Izmir airbase, Turkey

With all the tensions around Turkey, e.g. North Cyprus, Greece, Syria and the Kurds, I also would not risk getting too close to the military bases. Although the aircraft are very interesting and tempting... I wouldn’t risk going to jail for that. If you get caught, its not like a simple visit to the...

Also a very good spot is this one, on the bridge crossing the D986 / A86. Aircraft turning in here for the defilé. After being here last year, I would not recommend any other spot than this. Lots of Dutch spotters use it.

That makes it more interesting. Only important thing to know, is which shows will they visit? Aerobaltic seems confirmed, no others so far.

Long shot Amari 07.06.2019

Hi all,

Seen today at Amari, were 4 (out of 5) Apache AH.1, and a secretive Beech 350 with big bump on the back.

Also seen flying was R-44 nr 063.

2 Typhoons were seen landing from the car at 11:40.

Anyone with clues on the unidentified aircraft?

Kind regards,

Michel

Re: Hellenic AF photography at Chania Airport?

Different base, but we had some issues with the police at Andravida. Locals reported us to the police, after which we had to come to the police station. I made pics, but put my camerabag in the bushes when we saw the police arrive. That was our luck, the police told us that if we had taken pics, we ...

Re: Exercise Iniochos 2019 Andravida

The police also warned us. It’s not the police that is having problems with us spotters. It’s indeed the locals that are very alert on any “suspicious” behaviour. They even told us it was OK to go back to the airbase, but ”watch out for the locals”. All in all, they were quite relaxed, and it wasn’t...
