Re: US and Britain to conduct airstrikes
Just on the point of identification, I am curious as this is a joint operation between UK and USA, if it goes on for as long as the Prime Minister says it will, do the individuals involved receive a campaign medal. How does the government decide when a campaign medal is awarded?

Re: No 2 Sqdn special happenings today?
Are 2 squadron of on Op Shader or are they part of the UK’s plan to be in Eastern Europe? What plan would that be? I saw it on here. Not sure if it’s started yet (or if it will happen) but it mentions a typhoon squadron. https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/british-military-in-major-deployment-to-defend...

Typhoon First operational use of Storm Shadow missile
RAF reports the strike, which I think is the first use of the missile on the typhoon

Re: The FC interesting YouTube, Vimeo etc Video Thread
Some amazing RAF typhoon cockpit footage!
Came across these videos this morning, have only see these types of videos from US Air Force and Navy, so great to see it from a RAF Typhoon pilot.
Enjoy!

Falkland Islands Typhoons?
Afternoon everybody, hope you are all well.
I was thinking with the QRA at the weekend for the commercial flight and also earlier in the year for the Russians, how often do the Typhoons ever scramble from Mount Pleasant for a live QRA?
Many thanks
Jack

IX (B) squadron "aggressors"
Hello
Was just reading about the squadron being stood up and the article says that some aircraft will be painted in distinctive markings to identify as "adversaries".
Do you think the RAF will copy the USAF aggressors with similar paint schemes or not?

Is the NATO logo a recent move as I’ve never seen it before? I wonder if the jets will have the meteor or amraam missile?

Re: Tony gets his flypast!
Was watching Look North and weather said potentially fog in the morning, but should be clear by time flypast happens.
Really good coverage of it media wise, although I did cringe when the reporter called them “B-15 Strike Eagles”
