Re: B2's Next week

There was a rumour of B-1B doing the rounds earlier in the week? I've also heard that rumour at the fence recently, but with no obvious support arriving i'd suggest the chances of that happening anytime soon are fairly slim. Though i'd be very happily proven wrong. That would be cool.. :thumb:

B2's Next week

Hi Folks,
It has been intimated that there is a possibility of the B2's returning to Fairford next week, what are the chances all things considered?

Check out the threads, they seem to go early ish, and return late afternoon, look out for the Notam for the day; and bare in mind the B2's may have sorties to fly also..

Re: Any idea's folks?

The vessel may be as Smit Don, I think it is used for sea survival training for aircrew. Basically, they jump off the back with their aircraft seat life raft and have to get in it and then get picked up by the SAR hello. This may only have been helicopter training unless you saw any ‘jumpers’ and w...

The helicopter is not Police, it's ZM502 Jupiter HT.1 probably operating from Valley.

Any idea's folks?

Saw this off the Angelsey coast earlier this week, helo shadowing the vessel, looks like a police aircraft but odd over the sea (or not?) They both seemed to head for Holyhead. Any idea's folks.
