.. do you have Amazon prime? If so they offer free photo storage - including RAW files - and it's entirely unlimited, as part of your Prime subscription. (I've got about 3TB backed up)
I never knew, and I thought I knew everything. :P

Thanks for that, great tip!

Nook Campsite - Is it open?

Hi All I made a booking by text message for the campsite at John's Field and duplicated it to both email addresses, but have had no confirmation in 24 hours. I will phone John later, but just wanted to see if John is ok and the site is open. Perhaps anyone staying there at the moment or visiting the...

Re: Aero's of the non chocolate kind

Some of the best pictures I have *ever* seen on this forum. Spectacular, and no annoying 'branding' to spoil the pictures.

My personal, living-room slide-show will be blessed with these!

Thank you!

Great set of pics. The best thing is there is no silly personal logo on them so they can all go straight into my home slide-show
Looking forwards to more!

I think it might be a 2 ship now. Saw three take off from Marham, and coming home past Stowbridge I saw a lone Tonka heading back to Marham. :(

Re: Tornado farewell flypast February 2019

Just in case anyone missed this if, they don't do Facebook. It's on the Official RAF Marham page: RAF Marham : To clarify this is not the last ever time a Tornado will fly, just the dates we are able to do the flypasts around the country. Timings will not be released yet but will come later as per t...

FYI: Unsafe script & https issue

This may have been around for ages, not actually causing me any problems but I've just noticed a Chrome 'unsafe script' alert. It's not an unsafe script, it's the Google jQuery lib, the reason for the alert is that it's only http, not https, if you allow the script you'll then get a non-secure site ...

Re: ADSB mobile problems!

They've definitely made some 'New Year' changes. I used to use https://global.adsbexchange.com/VirtualRadar/desktop.html , as a favourite, which (naughtily) took me directly to the map only, with no ads or 'currently tracking' side panel. The link is still the same but unless the referer [sic] is th...

Brilliant stuff  Were they all taken from the same spot, and if so, where :S ? Thanks in advance. Glad you liked them. All taken from the fence at the threshold end of runway 01. RAF security had a friendly word about a) not leaning on top of the fence and b) not standing amongst or close to ...

Dog-fighting F15s over Wisbech during last 2 weeks

Over the last two weeks, maybe three, we've has pairs of what look to me like F15s, pulling some very impressive Top-Gun type maneuvers in the skies over us. Lots of climbing and diving, high G turns, etc. (We're in Upwell, near Wisbech) In the last 10 months, we've only seen this on a few occasions...

Rare low-flying Norfolk / Cambs; a question.

We now live in Upwell (Norfolk / Cambs. border), about 18 miles from Marham. On a daily basis we see military traffic from all the local airfields, of which there are many  but this is normally above 4000 feet (guesstimate). F15 dogfights being the most impressive :O Over the last 9 months, on...

Reminder to self; must make a proper effort next year.

Did anyone get any pics of the most recent event - especially of the runs?

Why bother you being on this forum if you think like that.
Thanks to the poster he’s got off his backside and gone down to see them land on a Friday evening.
For people like myself who live hundreds of miles away it’s great seeing what went on down there.
Hear, hear!
