Monday june 17th will see a gas 'n go for 4x CH-47F and 3x AS532 from the RNLAF on their way further UK for exercise TAC Blaze.

Not really as an MH-47G has a range of 860 miles, and this H-47ER will get a range of 1200miles.....That's REALLY impressive !!

With the Netherlands CH-47D's being in the replacement program for the CH-47F's they are nearing their end. And with this they are flying like crazy the last weeks. A not a much seen helicopter in europe, also because there are not that much military operators worldwide with this type, is the CH-148 from the Canadian Forces. This one came to the Netherlands with his mothership the HCMS Halifax that moored in Den Helder harbor for some necessary maintenance. Bef...

One question; I saw pics also taken at your position when aircraft take taxiway "Echo" but the other pics I saw had the wheels of the aircraft cut off by the gras. Is that when you take them without a ladder ?? You used a stepladder I assume ?

There's a flightplan for an Australian C-17 from Eindhoven , The Netherlands to Brize.

Departure Eindhoven 1100LT so arriving at Brize around 1045-11.00LT I think.

Departure from Brize should be around 1700LT as it should be back on Eindhoven around 1905LT.
