17 must be for the formation flypast upon arrival. Perhaps a solid arrowhead with double tail. Said in the spirit of speculation true to this thread!
Are we sure it's F-16CJs as according to PlaneBase the only Air Arm with F-16CJs is Singapore, wishful thinking?

Kings Review of Armed Forces

Are there any plans for King Charles III to review his Armed Forces as the Queen did. Just a queation as I was too young when the Queen ascended the Throne, not yet born :-) but I do remember the reviews for her Silver Jubilee.

Any thoughts

Wildcat's inbound 11-04-2023

Just had 4 Wildcats fly over me in Chelmsford (11:10 am). Judging by the direction they are inbound Wattisham. Only one showing on ADSB, ZZ397. Any help with the other 3 will be appreciated.

Re: Super Bowl LVII (57) Flypast

Hello, does anybody know the serials of the aircraft that took part in the flypast please? There was an F-35, and three Hornets, one in high viz markings, all seen from the car park at Phoenix airport. They had flown from Luke AFB. From photos I have seen so far there were two F-35 at Luke: 169302/...

Recent posting on MSF and Touchdown (May 2022) suggests DM overflights are regularly being denied.
The flights over the Boneyard are now restricted to be above 5,600 feet or even higher or they can also be denied. Not good if taking photos :@

KC-135 by Folly Road - 19/10/2021

Stopped off at Mildenhall today to see the new MC-130J 14-5805 and check out the KC-135s. 60-0333 was parked by Folly Road and had 92 ARW / 141 ARW on the nose plus an ANG badge & AMC badge. Does anyone know the history of this aircraft as PlaneBase now has it a being based with the 100 ARW. MTIA Ni...

Schleswig-Jagel 24th June 1986

Tidying up my logs for a European trip back in June 1986 and I have found the following.

I had logged a preserved Sea Hawk (?) VA-229 but is this it's true identity and if not, what is it's true identity.

Many thanks
