Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2024 General Discussion Thread

It's 6.38 and we're through security already.

They're doing security first and then holding us for tickets. Brilliant set up. We've got access to toilets, merch, and coffee, and no queueibg

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread

According to commentary the B-52 was always planned to close with a flypast and land. They did say it took off earlier than expected. Maybe they were just bored and wanting to go sightseeing in the Cotswolds?

Just to add my thoughts on entry. We arrived in the blue car park at around 7am. We didn't get in until 9am. Queue was incredibly slow, they were doing 100% bag checks. Also, the queue went around the car park and then crossed the road, merging with queues from other fields. So people arriving later...

Re: Radio or App ?

I started using 360Radar a couple of weeks ago. Definitely worth it.

I've seen all sorts on there but never an F15. Do they not show up on it or do I just have bad timing?

Re: Flying across Britain with Arthur Williams

Brilliant series, loved it. Especially seeing our familiar East Anglian sights in a different way.

Arthur is a natural presenter. That enthusiasm is so infectious. His program on the Mosquito was really good too

Re: New to FC or not so new? Introduce yourself here.

Hi all. I've been registered here a while but never posted. I've been reading mainly for RIAT and Duxford news before I signed up. After treating myself to a new lens and spending the morning at Lakenheath and Mildenhall I thought I'd say hi.
