Sad news indeed. I like many new Paul for a good number of years, always helpful on passing on his photographic knowledge. His collection of images from Mildenhall in the early seventies in black and white were outstanding.

There is an alternative, why don't the RAF/MOD organize some kind of photo call like they used to do in the 90s, and a charge £20-00 for the privilege, all moneys raised go to RAF and local Charities, they were well organised and very popular amongst the aviation community. A fantastic day for Tony, he deserves the recognition, and of course he deserves an OBE. Thanks go to the RAF, USAF and everybody involved in making this happen, Especially Dan Walker at the BBC, thanks Dan.

Hi Jim, Haven't posted a comment for a good couple of years, this is giving me the incentive to dig out some of my past efforts. Remember this event like it was yesterday, good scans and great aircraft to boot, remember getting wet during my walk around. If only such like photo calls can be arranged...
