Have just seen Elvington have received a Jag from Cosford today - probably that!
Yeh, passed it on the M1 just before meeting the A1(M) yesterday morning.
Usual camo, wings etc off.

Re: Israel Air Force B707’s and F-35’s into Moron

There should have been 5 707s.
IAF100 (272) remains at BGR with the two F-35s.
IAF201 (260) which departed with the cell this morning, then returned later to BGR, to help with the remaing cell, when finally all good to go!

Re: New QEAF Hawks

My guess is they will be painted prior to delivery at Warton. I understand they will have the RAF 3-layer black scheme which is quite a specialist job to apply. The paintshop at Warton is certainly painting these. What is the source for the black scheme? The grey painted ‘inaccessible’ area behind ...

Re: Prestwick 18/07/21

Very nice Dougie, i see 272 is missing the AAR Boom, strange one that. Cheers. And the small black roof dome in line with the wing leading edge and, of course, the national insignia. Freeman Following 290 a few months ago, this was also going to Brunswick for maintenance. Both have had their booms ...

And should be the last of the Saudi Hawks that will be seen flying at Warton. Interesting to see the spine panel from the Hawk AJT demo aircraft fitted!

Re: Cecil Field Jacksonville Florida 07-09-2017

Nice photos, I’m off to Jacksonville area for the Airshow soon. What is actually based at Cecil field? Is it worth a trip? Cheers Andy Further to Thunder’s reply, Cecil is certainly worth a visit, though would advise discreton and haste with photography. As well as the nice CBP P-3’s (which include...

Re: Cairo's Gems Part II: Egyptian Airforce Museum

Thanks chaps :thumb: So the 'Moth' may well be a replica (and a dodgy one at that)! Would anyone have info on the final EAF F-4's transiting through Europe after PDM in the US (around 1999-2000??). Further to their retirement, i am told they were withdrawn from service in 2011, replaced by F-16C/D B...
