Re: RAF 32SQ Northolt

G-ZABH left Northolt 3/2 as RRR1310 to Nuremberg. AirNav Radar showed it returning the same day but it didn't depart Nuremberg. Finally left...

The RIAT 2024 'Post-show Survey' should be appearing in our email boxes in a day or so...perhaps a chance to add some comments...bad or good!

It is not just Brize and Oxford, you can expect at least a couple of other airfields to take some of the visitors too.

Re: Phoenix and Tucson area trip Feb 24 and request PHX 18.02.24

Don't forget that the airfield elevation of DM is 2,500ft, ie 2,500ft above sea-level. In simple terms (without getting into QFE versus QNH) The aircraft height readout will show 5,000ft (approx) as it is taking sea-level in to account. So, you will be approximately 2,500ft above the ground for the ...

Re: KC-46A

AFAIK KC-46As don't wear external data blocks which makes it even more difficult lol! This one did wear N8570Z in the tail on a sticker though. If you use ADSB Exchange Replay, it comes up as XW199/A, over Welwyn about 7:35pm (BST).

Whether you believe military identities on ADSB is up to you, although Pumas have proven pretty reliable over the years.
XW199 was read at Luton, it diverted there due to an issue :thumb: .

Re: King’s Coronation Flypast Info 25th - 27th April & 6th May 2023

Hi All, Does anybody know if the Asda car park at Leyton Mills ( E10 5NH ), would give a reasonable view of the flypast ? The reason I ask is, my wife cannot be left at home alone, and her mobility problems mean I would have to drive, not use public transport. I live in Uxbridge , Middx. Many thank...

That is a few bob, I might start looking down the back of the sofa. Interesting that there may well be two up and running by then.

But then again, for that price you could do Oshkosh a couple of times...etc, etc..
