Re: Syrian/Iraq air war and conflict
News channels are now reporting that x4 RAF Typhoons provided air support, for the x4 Tornados involved in the strike early this morning. I noticed that from the Forces TV media report, the first aircraft taking off was a Typhoon?! https://airforcesmonthly.keypublishing.com/2018/04/14/strikes-on-sy...

Re: Syrian/Iraq air war and conflict
There appears to be a lot of confusion with the reporting of this, not a lot adds up? How can so many assets operate near Syria without anyone having a clue a strike was in operation as reported by the US? I'd assume the F-15 top cover would of been painting the whole area, looking any interceptors ...

Do any of the older folks on here remember these and have any stories to recall?? I could not drive then, so ...

Re: Raptors deploy to Lakenheath
They probley filed the sortie as "General handling in LFA7", that way they are free to route/go were they please. Great sight to see them low in the hills, and I'm sure the pilot was more than skilled and the jet had more than enough maneuverability to operate down low.

All aircraft have now left Templeton today, inc the Apache which broke down last night on departure with an engine issue.
Does anyone want a list of the serials of the aircraft?
