Re: Just for the record - Lossie 13.4.2012

Yup - there's a P-3C hidden behind the P-8A - it was so damned cold down there this evening I was just too lazy to hike further down the track. Better pix on Wednesday.

My son has just informed me that the P-8I does have a MAD boom, but the Seppo ones don't.

Just for the record - Lossie 13.4.2012

Not great in terms of photography, these are purely grab shots over the fence until the Enthusiast's Day on Wednesday 18th. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b212/HighlandSniper58/Album%20No2/Album%20No3/Album%20No4/P-8_first-look_web.jpg P-8A 167956 of VX-1 http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b212/Hi...

Missing but not gone

Hello all - just a few words to show that I'm still alive and kicking. I haven't had the best of summers what with my Father's death in July plus ill health myself but I'm still very much alive and kicking. I did venture down to Lossie a couple of times during JW2/11 when it looked more like downtow...

Oh ... ... ... ha-ha-ha, spitting my sides at your incredible humour. So subtle that no-one else understands it. Never mind, once you've been around FC a while we may - just may - start to interpret the subtleties, but I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime :P BTW what gives you the right to add...

Re: A sad day

But at least when smiley King Salmond wins (depending on how you look at it) apparently "all but inevitable" independence for you lot up there then all closed Scottish air bases will surely need to be reopened, with maybe even one or two new ones built, like proposed/dreamt ScAF Cuckoo Land? Can't ...

Re: Laim Fox to announce today.....

Between this and today's Waterbeach thread, we've had the most rubbish I've seen posted on FC in a long time. Despite the future situation being well explained by the Defence Secretary, we've had inaccurate speculation, ridiculous and tactless comments along with pure self-interest from some quarter...
