Re: Canon EF100-400 Mk1 Lens cleaning & service

Some while ago i used this company to sensor clean my Canon 70D and service a Tamron 150-600 G1. They where in Vauxhall London, I had need to be in London, they did the sensor clean while i waited. I collected the lens a week later using it as an excuse to have a day at Heathrow. Good service and wo...

Re: Newbie - here for first DLSR advice

Hi Harry. You would be better off putting this in the photography Q & A section. You may well find that's where a moderator will move it to anyway. Best advice I can give is for you to spend some time going through that section, your query is I'm sure addressed there somewhere. Also have a look at t...

Re: D-DAY Fiasco

Seems to have been blown out of proportion from what i've seen it was for the Paras to receive a stamp for a jump into Normandy dated 06-06-2024. Something that i'm sure would be cherished by those who took part yesterday. If that was the case I don't have any problems with it, well done and what a...

Why? They have landed in a foreign country without having gone through border controls.
Disrespectful by the French at the very least. This could have been avoided by routing aircraft through a French airport prior to the drop or officials being at the UK departure point. :@

RIP Sir, condolences to all family friends and the RAF family. High Flight by John Gillespie Magee Oh! Re: England Winter Tour of India 2024

Maybe now England should finally declare when it comes to test cricket. We no longer have the players capable of playing the "long format" of the game. Also the audience is no longer that interested, even during the ashes series if there weren't regular wickets falling or towering boundaries being s...

Re: Coningsby Families Day

Rafair, I don't understand your comment about funding. Unless RAF jets start sporting 'Sponsored by Paddy-power Bingo' soon, I would suggest all their funding comes from the great British public. I thought it was well known that "foxy Bingo" was the sponsor of choice. :P https://live.staticflickr.c...
