Re: HH60 Memorial Service
I was the Senior Assistant at Cley Marshes visitor centre which turned into a coordination military centre for 10 days ( 24 hrs a day ) with Norfolk Police, RAF Crash investigation team and logistics and of course the might of RAF Lakenheath and other USA departments. A huge input obviously but very...

Re: Lakenheath - nuclear store
they're back: https://www.suffolknews.co.uk/lakenheath/this-is-a-british-issue-possible-return-of-nuclear-weapon-9331873/ They never went away ; just have many more topics to protest against these days. And quite entitled to stage a demonstration as we thankfully live in a fairly democratic nation....

Re: USMC F-35Cs Have Departed For The First Operational Deployment Aboard USS Abraham Lincoln
I think perhaps Snoop 95 's post, mixing up the deployment of F35Cs as opposed to F35B. All a bit confusing.

Re: RAF QRA Question
Good on yer, nothing untoward about asking a question. Interestingly, a documentary this week covering the 9/11 terrorist attacks showed footage whereby the big air chief in command asked what ordnance the QRA F16s were loaded with, as there was still a commercial air liner heading towards Washingt...

Re: RAF QRA Question
Absolutely agree with page . Maybe ask the RAF direct . Anybody can read this including non friendly people. Doesn't anyone else think that any potential aggressor ( ie Russia ) already has this Intel data logged, photographed and put up at mission briefings awareness prior to any potential mission...

Many thanks.

Another news source suggesting that it could only be Russian technology. An A400 airframe was affected after take off. Plenty of Russian nationals living, working and holidaying in Cyprus, particularly in and around Limassol.

Re: “RAF accused of wasting money on 'outdated' F-35 warplanes“
And realistically how many amphibious landings / invasions are we going to see in the next 20-30 years? I’d hazard a rough guess at zero. Re: Bases flying?
An extremely high ( for here anyway ) CV22 Osprey late morning overhead in cloudless sky. Heard it but needed my binoculars to see it. Later on a C130 Hercules low and slow SW towards Fakenham.
