Re: A-10 gripe!

Have to say that there is a segment of spotters that are completely charmless, Iv'e had em come up and start scribbling my reg down whilst I'm still vacating me li'l plane and not even return my cheery hello, just waddle off to the next plane with their notepads propped on their fat bellies, no inte...

Re: MAPLIN CLOSURE

A shame for those working there, but as a company they were their own worst enemy, even now they have a fake up to 60% off sale where most stuff is still more expensive than elsewhere...scammers, they were good up to about 15 years ago then they just became rip-off city

RAF Yearbook 2018

Just bought the 100th year special and quite frankly it's rubbish, when I look back at some past editions (ok I havnt bought one for 10 years) the lack of depth is appalling, I know it's attempting to cover a lot this year but still very dissapointing TBH I find most uk produced aviation specials po...

Re: Fast jet over Cwmbran at just before 16.00 hours

Yep I was returning to Abergavenny airfield at that time from the south just west of Llangdegfedd Reservoir at 2000ft and a 2 seat typhoon passed under my left wing heading south, probably 1000ft or so below me, lovely sight could just make out the 2 bright green huds

Re: Jolly green Giant

Most likely it was NorthSky and I was fooled by the dark colour and lack of markings from directly beneath, I never knew we had any dark coloured S92s so my brain made me see a ch53
Oh well, it made a nice noise

Osprey Abergavenny May 3rd

Single Osprey transited south of Abergavenny and up the valley towards crickhowel this afternoon.
Thought it a bit odd to see one alone.
