Re: Shuttlewith Special Operations Evening Airshow
Thanks all
The light is brilliant there in the evening
And there seemed to be lots of space along the flight line. I stayed by the car, so will definitely be moving around next time.
Can't wait for the next one

Shuttleworth Special Operations Evening Airshow
Paid a visit to Old Warden on Saturday for the evening airshow. Only my second Shuttleworth airshow (previous was 2018), despite lots of museum visits as a kid Got to admit, it's probably my favorite Air Show venue. Very well run, and everybody just seems happy to be there, and with the aircraft on ...

Re: Mildenhall 15/5 PM
I realy hate to ask this, and I know all the caveats, but I'm in the area and was planning to visit Mildenahll later in the week, however, if there's a likelihood the F15QA(s) might leave tomorrow (Monday) I'll change plans. I thought they'd all departed on Thursday last week so wasn't planning on M...

Seafire and Spitfire, Lleyn Peninsula North Wales - 21/7/16
Does anybody have the serials and/or desination/Route of a Seafire(? going from RN type markings) and Spitfire formation over North Wales today (21st July 2016)
Didn't see them myself, but seen a pic of the pair together (not good enough for serials)
thanks
Andrew

Re: RAF WYTON 09.06.1984
Hi guys, apologies for resurrecting an old thread. I had hoped to get the scans up sooner. I've no idea of the exact date, but judging from similar phots and my very vague recollection I would be about 5, so would put this at 1984. I remember the F5's being at Wyton because Alconbury was having Runw...

Re: Hunter T7 and Anson 19 - 1960 (Possibly at R.A.F. Scampt
Guys, thank you so much. I found the Anson late last night after posting, TX166 it is. As for the Hunter, the T7/T8 confused me, guess its just a log book error. Nice to have confirmation it was at Lossie though. So WT702 Again, thanks, I'm sure there will be a few more as I work through the log book.

The Hunter may have been at Lossiemouth. Log book is unclear of departure airfield, but he was based at Scampton in '60.

Hunter T7 and Anson 19 - 1960 (Possibly at R.A.F. Scampton)
Hi all, This is longshot, but I'm hoping somebody might be able to dig something out. I'm trying to build a model of each aircraft flown my Grandad, and mark them as accurately as possible. During his flying time on Vulcan B1's he flew a Hunter T7 on May 10 1960, presumably from Scampton. The log bo...
