Re: Photo storage

Useful information thank you. Thats a lot of storage too. I don't have prime, but I was considering it as an alternative TV plan and didn't realise you get that little nugget with it.

Cheers

Photo storage

Hello, does anyone use Dropbox for storage of their images. It was suggested to me today, but wondered was it any good.

Many thanks.

The Draaken flew over Bransgore when it was recovering to BOH and it looked impressive, just doing that.

Re: Tamron 70-300mm

If its the normal DG one, i usually find it between 150 and 250mm. I used this lens at RIAT this year to save having to carry the big one around, but to be honest , I wish I had taken the bigger one with me lol. At least my shoulders were'nt aching when I got home.

Re: Bournemouth Airshow

I start a weeks holiday in the New Forest that weekend so plan on going to Bournemouth Airport on the Sunday for a couple of hours to see whats around. Usually most participants base themselves there for the weekend. Bournemouth itself gets rammed when the Airshow is on. Lets hope the weather is goo...

I am a Canon user myself, but from my experience of the Nikon lenses in the past, I don't think you have any concerns. They are excellent lenses. That one sounds like a cracker.

Re: Mirrorless or not?

Personally speaking I only got into DSLR about 4 years ago so I think I'll be sticking with it. I don't want to be doing with the upheaval of changing the system all over again. Quite happy with the kit i've got.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread

I can see the point that James Cutting is trying to make, however I think DBH need to be a little more commercially savvy and do more to balance up the 2 weekend days going forward. Friday should not be charged at the same price as the weekend if they are not having a display for the same amount of ...

Re: Blue skies?

I would darken a picture or lighten it. If the sky was grey on the day, then it was grey thats that. If you changed it to a clear blue sky, its actually a misrepresentation of the moment you captured. Personally I would keep it real.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread

B52 display was either 2005 or 2006. There was a B1 at the same time. However you don't expect to see those a/c in the air at the show on a regular basis. Was happy to see the KC10, KC135 , C130, F15 on staitic and 3 F15's in the flypast + others.

Already planning for next year.
