Re: Last hurrah at Mildenhall for 2019

Great set, worth the trip by the looks of things. Pity there was nothing doing at the Heath, but its like that most of the time when I go over there too.

Merry Christmas

Re: Another "what camera / lens" thread.

Hi Andrew. Think you have chosen well because you kinda had an idea what you needed. However, if you ever travel around a bit and don't want to carry the 'big stuff' around i can recommend the Canon 55-250 IS STM lens. HD quality and a lot less weight to carry if you are on the move. Should be able ...

Re: Photo storage

Useful information thank you. Thats a lot of storage too. I don't have prime, but I was considering it as an alternative TV plan and didn't realise you get that little nugget with it.

Photo storage

Hello, does anyone use Dropbox for storage of their images. It was suggested to me today, but wondered was it any good.

Many thanks.

The Draaken flew over Bransgore when it was recovering to BOH and it looked impressive, just doing that.

Re: Tamron 70-300mm

If its the normal DG one, i usually find it between 150 and 250mm. I used this lens at RIAT this year to save having to carry the big one around, but to be honest , I wish I had taken the bigger one with me lol. At least my shoulders were'nt aching when I got home.

Usually most participants base themselves there for the weekend. Bournemouth itself gets rammed when the Airshow is on. Lets hope the weather is goo...

I am a Canon user myself, but from my experience of the Nikon lenses in the past, I don't think you have any concerns. They are excellent lenses. That one sounds like a cracker.

Re: Mirrorless or not?

Personally speaking I only got into DSLR about 4 years ago so I think I'll be sticking with it. I don't want to be doing with the upheaval of changing the system all over again. Quite happy with the kit i've got.
