The flypast during the parade has become a bit fluid, Red arrows definite, possible A400, Merlin and Avenger.

Military air shows have all of the routes mapped ou. It appears that they leave Exeter and land at Newquay after the flypasts.

The Red Arrows are also undertaking flypast over Plymouth AFD and somewhere else (Barnstaple?) on the way to and from Falmouth.

There are two flypasts during the parade, the Red Arrows will fly over as the parade reaches the Dias and then some navy helos when the veterans reach the Dias. These will be over the town as opposed to the air display which is happening off the beaches, about a 20 min walk away from the town center.

He doesn’t need NVG, but something that penetrates fog, it’s not nice down here at the moment and the forecast shows little improvement. So, they might be on plan B

Cracking, the Dutch frigate was the ‘HNLMS Callenburg’, a Kortenaer class frigate. Transferred to Greece and is still in service as ‘HS Adrias’.

It appears that the air show in Portland is at McMinville (where the Spruce Goose and the museum is) and not Hillsboro
