Re: Parking .
That will probably mean the parking there has gone forever then. Wishful thinking,, but during the building works, they could take a look at providing a parking area similar to Lakenheath

Re: The death of Fighter Control
It will be so sad if FC closes. I do not post on it often now, but that is because I do not get out to catch aircraft on the hills these days because of ill health and covid of course, but I do look on here regularly to keep up withe the fabulous photos. Like several others here it will bring back ...

Re: Marham 2012
Fantastic shots Mark. Number 10,very poignant and 25 for the nice strobe.
I think all of the uk milair enthusiast community really misses the Tornado. Not been to Marham since they finished, I'm afraid the F35 just doesn't float my boat.

Re: Machloop ban
Blackcat As I understand, its just the loop bit of '7' that's out of bounds to front liners.(Not sure about USAF c130's and CV22's.....but they have been also absent so far this year.RAF transport has been very rare also since the initial 'video' ban ). Yes I noticed LN did have some flights doing hi...

Its only my latest theory.I've already blamed all the other explanations for the ban!Fighterfoto wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 2:44 pmGreen133 - you make a good point which perhaps indicates the local MP is not the reason for less traffic.

Re: Machloop ban

Local b&bs are suffering, spotters are their livelihood ! it's a sad shame Yes Blackcat it is a shame. It has put an abrupt stop to my hobby.Gutted as I loved going and met some nice people up the hills. Its a long old wa...

Re: How crap is Windows update?
For info, MS are stopping support for Win 7 around end of the year.
My Win 7 pc has become very buggy this last year with lots of programs or websites not liking it. Love or loath it my next build will have to be Win 10.

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2019 Mont-de-Marsan
My second tiger meet.
The rain was disappointing, but a great day with the bonus of the 3 displays in the afternoon. The French were very accommodating and welcoming.
Hopefully I can make it to Portugal next year.

Really thought that, this far South, at this time of year, it was going to be how sunburnt I was going to get. Not how wet!
Really pee'd off.

Thanks for replies.
I carried out an online payment on 17th March through Halifax. I haven't had any notification from the French and can't see any payment taken from my account. Thing is they don't reply to emails. Guess I'll have to go into branch.
