Re: Possible Deployment
Anyone seen any working on the remaining bombers today,as if leaving for CONUS tomorrow?Usually there's a day or so between pairs departing but occasionally it's been the next day.

Re: Possible Deployment
Anybody know how a deployment can take place when Fairford has a current Notam running until early Jan 2025 about critical and reduced firefighting and rescue capabilities for all the aircraft which could be involved?

Re: Deployment General Information
For completeness sake and as a future deployment end guide, on Mon 17 Jun there was a mass photoshoot,in two sessions, for what was possibly all personnel on this deployment. They were standing on the wings, and several with heads sticking out of the cockpit,of jet 0018,the nearest to the Marston Meyse...

Possible Press Day?
Does anyone know whether tomorrow is a Press Day,as during the B-1's previous visit in Oct 2021 it was held on the Wed of the second week of operations, and no flying took place.I,and I'm sure many others, would be grateful for any information to save a fruitless long and difficult journey. Many thanks...

Re: Car parking and viewing at Waddington.
Parking management at the WAVE this year has been a shambles. In all the many years I've been going there, from before it was called the WAVE(eg ACMI exercises), I've had no problems.

Thanks for the enlightenment Supra. What I also liked about this jet was how,in other shots, the colour of the markings was echoed in the colour of the afterburner.

Re: Car parking and viewing at Waddington.
Any Range Rover Evoques in the Wave today,or maybe even Jaguar E-Paces,as the latter would seem to fit the current criterion for SUV entry of being made abroad(Austria)?

Excellent shots.Particular like the one where the pilot of the tiger jet throws his hands in the air(mock horror?)as if he knows what's happening beneath him.

Re: Car parking and viewing at Waddington.
Went to Waddington today for the first time this exercise. On entering The Wave in my Evoque, the smallest Range Rover, just after the gates were opened at 7:30 I was told that "Range Rovers and Freelanders are not allowed"(no mention of Discoveries or Defenders)although I noticed there were similar si...

Re: US 8th Air Force 80th Anniversary Flypast at Lakenheath
Nice but how much more appropriate it would have been for B17 "Sally B"and some P51 Mustangs to have been present.
