I use it extensively for both aviation and other subjects, really like it as it allows me me to shoot at 6400 with little damage to the image and 12800 as long as you're careful. Will just say it pays to check the image it produces before export to ensure the denoise/sharpening etc. is not over done...

Slides will clean well but if the mould has attacked the emulsion then cleaning may not help - depends on the level of damage, hope yours will be ok. I lost a set to mould a few years back and then spent hours in Photoshop repairing the damage so at least I managed to keep a copy of the images if no...
