I know some have been frustrated at the lack of activity but for me it has been a fascinating deployment. They arrive pretty much un-announced, and have done some interesting - and historic - sorties (e.g. Ukraine, Morocco), and the Minot crews do love their 'fighting wing' and singleton run + brea...

never seen such a short take off for a 747....light load ....anyway did a circuit of Brize and now steeply rising south west over Swindon heading for cornwall ?

yes, it has just landed !! hurrah !

...anyway, both departed smack on time heading west using the full runway, incidentally 15mins previously a Jumbo landed, now unloading goods where the Buff's usually sit.
