Thanks for this.
I've got a few days in the locality with clients, so I'm hoping to catch a display, and hopefully see the new scheme

Re: Edinburgh and the North East

Some excellent images there, made special by the composition and timing.
I really like the Puffin coming in to land, and the hunting Heron, the reflection is super.

A pair of F15's dogfighting over my house in Grantham this afternoon about 1230. Full reheat turns, climbs and even near stalls as they banked.
Is your house up for sale?

Re: KC-135 Refuelling hose mishap

There's also at least one Victor K2 Tanker centre-line hose from a Mk17B HDU in the Wash area too, - obviously in a clear, designated 'drop-zone'. They were supposed to be released at full trail, by detonating a small ring of explosive 'guillotine bolts' which mate the hose end to the Drum Unit. The...

Re: Silver Jubilee Review - Finningley July '77

I grew up about 5 or 6 miles away from Finningley and joined the RAF in 1977, so it would be rude not to attend (especially with free entrance👍) Lovely to see some of the airframes that I would work on later in my career. As has been said earlier - 'When we had an air force' And yes... I've seen gra...

Re: The Six nations rugby thread 2021

Play to the whistle and adapt to the ref. England should have seen the way the ref was blowing with penalties. It's not for the ref to change his ways to accommodate any team. In simple terms, England lost to a better team through indiscipline. I've also heard that Pascal is now a baby boys most pop...

Re: COVID-19 UK

Certainly I think the way people use go to their place of work will change in some areas. Maybe some will continue to work from home for good! I do think you have to try and be positive in these events and keep an open mind! Indeed. The working practices for myself and my team have changed tremendo...

Re: Spotting trips, going solo, your mates or organized?

I started going to LFA7 (Mach Loop) with a friend I met whilst I was working in the Telford area in Shropshire. From that, and subsequent visits, I met more people who shared my aviation interest. My job at the time allowed me access and organizational positions within RAF Cosford, and I took some g...
