Re: Horse Riders On Public Roads?

Well, the wonderful wife of someone I knew taught me a lot about etiquette of riders and horses, especially on the roads. Since being 'educated' I drive slowly past them, giving a wide berth and on each occasion I receive a wave as a matter of understanding and gratitude. Bike riders on the other ha...

Re: Red Arrows New Base?

I'd have thought Leeming as the ideal home for the Reds, plenty of hangar space/HAS's, it's a Hawk T.1 base so there's infrastructure/logistics. And now that Lintons gone there's shedloads of airspace out there? See the point above re A1 roads, congestion, rubber necking and potential for accidents...

Re: How crap is Windows update?

Have you asked Siri what she is wearing ? I have some wonderful conversations with Alexa, however most of my questions regarding bondage, women's underwear and other stuff when the wife's out are answered with "Hmmm, I don't know that one". I think she knows more than what she's letting on. :...

Re: Rugby Union World Cup 2019

1245L Sunday 13/10. Anybody hoping for a Japan victory? Brilliant hosts and a wonderful country to visit. I think Nicola S (aka 'the Dwarf from the North), may have been rooting for the Scots... Always rated the Scottish team for their commitment and grit, but they were just dismantled today. What ...

Re: Greta Thunberg?

An interesting concept, - we hear much about 'what kind of planet are we leaving for our children'... but look at the state of our youth and possibly consider 'what kind of children are we leaving for our planet.' The majority of this post is knocking the efforts of one of those children you are 'l...

Wonderful images.
Fantastic, absolutely fantastic times at Deci, annually with 20 and 17(F).
Hard work, up down, up down all day (and that's just the glasses at the Nags...)

Re: Ladders at Waddington

Talking of arrogant people I was at one of the Waddington Airshows in one of the hangars, there was a lot of people in their and this particular individual was shoving & pushing to get through. This prat was looking to get a slap and thrown out of the hangar. And did he get one and get thrown out, ...

Re: RAW Files

Hope you get plenty of joy with it. I was looking for a second crop body, for action and a bit of published wildlife. It's a great all rounder on paper, although (not a but), even with a Digit8 processor, at 10fps, the buffer gives 25shots in raw; the 1DXii (with dual processors), will run for 14fps...
