It is a lovely shot of an awesome machine.
7,500 in three days is really going some!
Just imagine the good old days with a few rolls of films...

Philippine Air Force Museum

For a possible trip later this year, does anyone know if the AF museum near Terminal 3 Manila is still open? Google maps states "permanently closed".

Nice to see that. Good luck for the Edwards machine. I have not done the walk around the back of the pub for about 40 years.

The fact there is no "real" commitment to this by the Government is pitiful. This is merely lip service.
Out of casual interest, what would you like to see by way of "real" commitment?

Great pictures and history. There is the steam railway in the Somme that still carries tourists, no idea if any way connected, but maybe of some interest.

Some gems in there and I regret never having been to Point Mugu. Always a soft spot for the Black Bunny.

Re: Poppy collection

Thank you for a "good news" story.
I have always purchased the paper poppies from street or store sellers over the past 40+ years that I have been a so called adult, but migrated to the smaller metal ones over the past couple of years.

Kalitta Air flight CKS9741 currently en route to Minot AB. It'll be interesting to see where she goes from there. https://www.flightradar24.com/CKS9741/37c79849 Edit: Globe Sentinel on X reporting this flight is heading to Fairford after Minot. FR24 seems to be showing that as going to Sofia. Time ...

A couple of heavy lifters have been in and out of Minot AB over the last 24hrs. One C-5 heading to Ramstein.

Does this add more credibility to the rumours?
If it (and the earlier C-17) had stopped at Fairford, then yes.
