Re: Streaming at Waddington.
At the media day yesterday, the media weren’t allowed within 100 metres of the Finnish Hornets who had declined access as they had increased their sdcurity. The RAF media team explained this was a direct result of the complaints from the Finnish over the streaming and the close ups of ground crews.

East Coast Time Off
Hi guys, Last month I spent a few days travelling around the East Coast, sods law Coningsby were night flying but I certainly had a good time and got some much needed relaxation. Here's a few shots from 3 days of action topped off by bagging Italian Daves, the Heritage F-15C and every one of the pai...

Marham spotting advice - first time visitor
Hi guys, In a few weeks I'm spending a few days at Marham to catch the Tornado for the final time. I understand runway 01/19 is still in use. Can anyone advise where is best to park so that I don't cause and issue and the best locations to take images from please? It is a base I have never been to, ...

Re: The Mound CLOSED 11.5.17
The mound is spoil dirt from works on the airfield dumped on (leased to a farmer) MOD land - the farmer is allowed to use the soil as and when required (he has taken large chunks in the past). I'm sure that the future of the mound is in question thanks to new regs and security concerns however I can...

Re: Rolls... Real or Fake?
Apologies for the plug mods  Yesterday, Dr Pleming, Chief Exec of the VTST gave UKAR an in depth no holes barred interview on the current state of the XH558, the future and how it happened. As part of that interview Dr Pleming confirmed that the rolls DID happen. You can listen to the hour lon...

Re: F-35s to Fairford on June 27th
The RAF pilot that was bringing in one of the aircraft today was active on Twitter 4 hours ago. Highly doubt he would have been posting at that time if they were still inbound today.

Re: F-35s to Fairford on June 27th
(If I'm reading it right)
There is an ALTRV terminating off the UK coast (MIMKU) this afternoon, there are also two block ALTRV's for Monday morning.
F-35 related?

Italian Navy base visit
Morning guys, Last Thursday I was privileged to be part of a group to visit the Italian Navy and the Guardia di Finanza at Grottaglie. The latter of which gave us a private flying demonstration  It was a very special day, as Grottaglie is the home base of the Wolves with their AV-8B+/TAV-8B...
