Great set of shots, has the Sun ever shone at Leeming? I see you shot them at Gatenby (before it was blocked off :( ), good old days.

Re: October B52 deployment

Any idea how long the deployment is on for? The reason I ask is that my hands are tied with various commitments and it's going to be at least a fortnight before I can get away

Re: F-35 drag chute test - in the air

In a similar vein, I vaguely recall someone telling me that on it's final delivery flight to Duxford, when on finals the AAM B-52D had to deploy it's drag shoot before actually touching down on the piano keys? (Myth? :S ) I know that the M11 was closed briefly for the operation.

Re: Cobra Warrior Info

Does anyone know if there will be aircraft departing on friday 20th (which i understand is the last day of the exercise) or are they more likely to be departing the following week? Not certain but I've heard it mentioned that the Israelis will be departing on Thursday(19th), the Germans & Italians ...

Never seen the P5CTS pod fitted to a b52 before.
Is that the appendage that looks like a sidewinder, located between the port engines?

Yes, the Germans have at least once and will be coming back. Understand the Italians will as well. Pretty sure the isrealis won't.
