Re: Ex Cobra Warrior parking restrictions

If a Spotters Day was to be organised, we would have 10 pages of why, where, what and moans because it doesn’t fit in with everyone or cones are n front of aircraft. Just be glad that CW will give the people the opportunity to see something; heaven forbid we become a Russia of China type state and t...

The RAF has a job to do, and its not supplying a facility that gets used ...

Re: World Tornado situation......

OUr fleet was slated to go out to mid-2020s, but then again so was Harrier; and look what has happened to both. As for spares, it depends on what you mean as the nuts and bolts elements will be passed around other current platforms to see if they need in the future. Larger bits, all depends on if th...

Looks like Kendrew Barracks is going to be busy.

Local news reports state 10 Apaches and 4 Wildcats, possible Chinooks and French Gazelles later.

Shame I moved 😡

Predicted that by 2100 sea levels will be 1 metre higher; websites show the impact. Filmman I remember when at school (mid-70s) doing Geography at A-level that by 2020 Peterborough was going to be by the sea; so much for the flooding and that was before global warming had even been thought about. :...

Wasn't there a drone too?

Correct, some clown landed one on it when it was berthed at Invergordon.

The difference between the F3, Lightning and Harrier is that they had plenty left at OSD. They seem to be scrapping the GR4s so quick they might not have enough to do a flypast

Re: Oceana Camera restrictions 2018

People need to get a life and either follow the instructions or don’t attend. Those who want to take ‘larger’ camera kits just need to register for ‘Jet Fan’, no hardship there, and (as far as I could see) it’s free!!
