Brentwood School CCF in the seventies. AEF chipmunks at Cambridge and gliding in Sedburgh at Debden. Most ‘flying’ though in a Slingsby Grasshopper on the school field - assembled at lunchtime by a bunch of teenagers and ‘launched’ by the same by means of rubber bands and the school tractor.
