Went yesterday they are parked where the construction work is going on
Saw 2 from the bill unreadable managed to read 2 from the field 493 492 plus miss poled a third
Spl mkg F15 and a F-35 with cockpit open parked in same area

Hawkinge do not allow photos to prevent people knowing exactly what is in the museum and breaking in to steal items to order for collectors of priceless relics.
I visited 18 months ago and they did not stop me taking notes of serials and w/o dates and sites to update the Aerodata data base

Hi Slogen you said Nine of the CF F-35B can be easily seen by walking to the end of the tree line south down the A1065 a few hundred metres north of the new gate opposite the base (Presumably the HGV gate) can you please tell me where you parked and give me directions to enable me to see them. Looking at the Thunder and Lightning spotting site map which is out of date as is google earth and google maps
presumably the South Gate translates to point G on the map and then you walk towards point H

I went last Saturday parked in the southern layby walked all the way up to the gate and photographed the Israeli's without any problem
