Understand they're being converted by Boeing at Mesa, AZ.

Flown out on a C-17, whether they return as such remains to be seen.
Thanks for that.. I'm sure we (ACL) could do it cheaper by RoRo Cargo...

Re: No.22 Sqn Reformed

Would the re-manufactured aircraft be re-worked in the states? Apologies if this is a stupid question, but as i'm in the shipping industry and Seaforth have handled Apaches previously this could be an invaluable lead to help generate future revenue for the shipping line I work for..

Re: impossible question

I'm sorry I'm starting about Corona again, but in a positive manner this time :P Today I read that 70.000 of the 80.000 infected Chinese have already recovered. Seeing how Europe is a few weeks (or months perhaps) later with the infection, my GUESS is that the same is happening here in a few weeks....

Re: a few whirlybirds from the west country

Those bagged Merlins look like they're ready to be shipped out. We regularly have RoRo cargo wrapped like that out of Seaforth. More likely for storage as they have been there for several weeks. All we can see, is that they are utility variants and that they are still on there own undercarriage (so...

Plea for veterans to salute Chorley wartime hero

Another veteran of Bomber Command with no family has slipped the surly bonds. Anybody in the North West able to attend the funeral?

Strange, I was fairly regular at Warton from 2005-2013 and always thought the Hawks were roaded in to Warton for final assembly as the runway at Brough was unusable at that point...

From Wiki: The aircraft's maiden flight occurred on 27 July 2005 from BAE Systems' Warton Aerodrome.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2020 Discussion Thread

Yet another enclosure to take up space on the crowd line.... As we look forward to our 50th anniversary in 2021, we're pleased to introduce 1971, our new hospitality upgrade that combines contemporary food and drink with hints of 1970s style. In response to high demand for our First Class Lounge (n...
